Dronacharya Award

Dronacharya Award is an award presented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India to those individuals who have contributed in the field of sports coaching and have produced outstanding achievements consistently during three years preceding the Award. The award was instituted in the year 1985. The award comprises a bronze statuette of Dronacharya, a scroll of honour and a cash component of Rs.7,00,000.
